This was originally the first idea for a cover for ~ImagiNation-Comix the group that i'm apart of. Something about the texture within the painting was always my favorite thing ^_^

Laying out at night is a always a cool theme to me, this one gives off a mysterious feeling for the character. Like shes maybe gone through a rough day and is finally able to relax, maybe clearing the mind. The coloring here fits the mood very greatly.
Also with the aging of the environment like the building she is on, the vines growing up it was a good touch!
